Meaning of name: Sweet thing in Zulu.
Recognised by: Her pitted forehead and a half circle shaped tear out of her left ear.

Nandi is an exceptionally good mother to Thandi, the first-born calf at the Park. She has a calm and noble bearing, and is very close to Sally. In recent years she has embraced a comforting role to the members of the herd.
