To visit South Africa and especially the Knysna Elephant Park has been definitely the best experience I’ve had in my life so far! I am totally in love with this place, the people, the elephants, the lifestyle, the nature and of course my husband ;). I can’t describe how important the time here has been for me and I am definitely trying to come back as soon as possible.
The people here and the place feels like a second home for me now, I am just happy that I had the chance to make so many new friends from all over the world, human and animals. It’s just the warmest welcome I’ve ever had! The coordinators are doing a great job and gave us this many incredible experiences, they welcomed us in the most charming way and I am sad to leave my second family… I feel very honoured that we’ve had such an amazing group of volunteers, various characters and the best time we could’ve had! Everyone is special and perfect in their own way and I loved the way we get along with each other. Thank you, ladies!
I can’t believe how fast this 9 weeks passed by and I really don’t want to leave. I love being in the field, just watching the elephants and chatting to the guides. I love the work and I haven’t had a day that I was not happy to get up. Every day has had something special and I will never forget the time here. I couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
The ellies and the people will have a place in my heart wherever I go. It really hurts to leave on Sunday, the only thought that is keeping me straight is that I am trying to come back as soon as possible. It was definitely the best time of my life and I couldn’t have had more fun, discovering the different way of living, the facts about the elephants and myself!
Thank you so much for the best experience of my life, the most incredible people ever and the best elephant herd of the world! I can`t wait to see you again.
